About Thrive Forward

“Increasing age, health concerns and a big yet-to-do list motivated me to start working with Thrive Forward. I like the small group class and the knowledgeable direction that Katie provides that is specific for my needs. Expert guidance on form and correction or adjustments are made. I couldn’t be happier with the results so far. I am not sure why I waited so long to get started but it is never too late to make a difference in your health.”

How do you lead a thriving, active life when faced with chronic disease and an aging body?

Unfortunately, our dreams are often met with the perceived limitations of our bodies: “Too weak, too stiff, too sore, too easily injured, too tired…”What if you had someone to help you address these limitations, find the root causes and make positive changes to your lifestyle while aging?

THRIVE FORWARD is here to help.

Thrive Forward is an individualized, strength and conditioning training program that addresses your specific goals and the primary causes of health and wellbeing. Benefits of this program include:

A full health history, screening and PT evaluation

Progress is measured at each session and at regular intervals to assess progress and make adjustments as necessary

Reduce age-related functional decline associated with loss of muscle mass (frailty), heart disease, stroke, osteoarthritis and cognitive decline

Live the life you want on your terms

Your first visit

Your first visit will include a full health history, screening and PT evaluation. Together, we will identify goals that are most important to you. Based upon your goals and assessment, we will develop an individualized program. You then decide which program works best for you: individual or small group sessions. You also decide the days of the week and times that work best for you. Each session will incorporate aspects of your individualized workout regimen and an evidence-based general conditioning program.

Your results & progress

The program will be specifically designed to promote a vital, healthy life AND prevent major causes of disability:

  • Heart Disease

  • Stroke

  • Diabetes

  • Cognitive Decline

  • Osteoporosis

  • Cancer

  • Arthritis

  • Age Related Functional Decline

  • Low Back Pain

Each session will be led by a strength and conditioning specialist or Physical Therapist who will coach on movement patterns and correction. Progress will be measured at each session and at regular intervals to ensure consistent progress and make adjustments as necessary. Your specialist will also be there to encourage you at every step.
