About Altius

At Altius our commitment is to you--our patient. Our goal is to empower you to be in charge of your health and return to the aspects of life that are most meaningful to you.

Our Mission

At Altius, we utilize the most current evidence combined with decades of professional experience to diagnose and treat the root causes of your symptoms rather than merely chasing your main. Then, we go the extra mile to help you build resilience to return to the activities that give your life meaning, whether that be holding your grandchild or achieving peak performance at an athletic event.

Our therapists are all board certified Orthopedic specialists who have dedicated their professional careers to elevating the field of Physical Therapy and raising the standard of care in our community.  We are home to Physical Therapists who are both board certified in Orthopedics and fellowship trained, a distinction that less than 1% of the PT’s in the United States can claim.

Altius was founded with the mission to change the way people view physical therapy.  Our vision is to shift health priorities from reactive care to higher value preventative and maintenance services in order to decrease overall healthcare costs and to reduce the incidence of preventable injuries and illness.  Unlike most providers who schedule 30-40 minute appointments, we schedule our appointments for one hour or more. Your care will be focused on YOUR goals–undistracted by multiple patients, administrative interruptions, phone calls or the need to devote your appointment time to reporting to insurance case managers. Extended appointment times may allow for fewer visits per week as well as over the course of care and expedite your recovery time.
